This year I decide to participate at the LinuxTag in Berlin. LinuxTag is Europe's most important event for free and open source software. In 2006, more than 9,000 visitors experienced this unique combination of conferences, tutorials and trade fair. The thirteenth incarnation of this great arrangement will provide up-to-date information to power users, decision makers and researchers, as well as to software developers, newcomers and the open source community...
LinuxTag 2007 opened its doors from May 30 to June 2, 2007 at the Berlin Expo Center under the Funkturm, but I've been there just the last 2 days (Friday and Saturday). This year's focus and topics included Virtualization: technology and management, Web 2.0, AJAX and mash-ups.
LinuxTag addresses a broad spectrum of visitors. From novice to expert, from developer to decision maker, everyone will find trend-setting information in the LinuxTag Open Lectures, more than 140 talks, presentations and events. This year we intend to offer all visitors better orientation by structuring the conference programme more clearly. This year's programme is organized in five parallel conference tracks.
